A Little About Me...
I am an MA qualified Integrative Psychotherapist, which means that I work within a number of different modalities or types of counselling depending on the individual needs of the client.
I am an advanced diploma qualified clinical supervisor and I enjoy working with professionals and trainees within the helping professions.
In addition to private practice, I have worked within an addiction service for the past 10 years in various capacities. For the past 4 years I have managed the counselling service within the wider organisation, supporting clients of the service and their family members. I also provide lecturing support with undergraduate and postgraduate counselling and psychotherapy courses in Lancashire.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the NCS (National Counselling Society)
Services I Offer
With You Every Step of the Way
Do you work with people in the caring profession? Clinical supervision offers you a confidential space to explore and reflect upon your thoughts, needs and the relationships within your working environment. By relationships, I mean your relationship with yourself, with your clients, colleagues and the wider organisation.
Clinical supervision provides a dedicated time to improve your personal and professional competence. This is achieved through reflection around your intentions and effectiveness and by nurturing increased self-awareness and understanding.
Whether you are a counselling student in placement, a qualified therapist or a professional who works with people, clinical supervision can benefit you.
I believe that we all have the resources within us to heal, however, there may be times where life can be difficult and situations overwhelming. During these times, having someone to explore feelings with can help.
Counselling can offer a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings with the aim of finding clarity and acceptance.
If you would like to have a conversation around whether counselling might be right for you, please contact me.
